EXTENSION TO HONG KONG
1.
I attach a draft minute on the record of the meeting with Dr Patrick Hase and Mr. Derick Hall of the Hong Kong Government office.
2. Dr Andrew Young, Legal Adviser, is pursuing with
Ms Wilmshurst who should lead from Legal Advisers and will let us have their decision soon. We should then seek an early draft of the legislation which we will need to clear with the Hong Kong Government, before applying for an Order in Council early in the new year.
My apologies for the long delay in subrating this.
