WIPO COMMITTEE OF EXPERTS ON THE HARMONISATION OF TRADE MARKS
Thank you for your letters of 9 September and 9 October 1992 informing me that the Government Secretariat would like to nominate Miss A C Waters from the Intellectual Property Department to attend the fourth meeting of the Committee of Experts to be held in Geneva from 16 to 20 November 1992.
I have consulted Alec Sugden in the Industrial Property and Copyright Department of the Patent Office and the Hong Kong Department in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for their views. You will be pleased to know that there is no objection to Miss Waters attending the above meeting as a member of the United Kingdom delegation. The conditions of this have been spelt out before: namely, that if the representative wishes to make an oral intervention, the substance of this must be cleared first with the leader of the delegation.
