Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction, London, Moscow and Washington, 1972

This Convention establishes rules designed to prohibit and eliminate the production and possession of bacteriological (biological) and toxin weapons (text at Annex A).

State Party undertakes never to develop, produce, stockpile or otherwise acquire or retain such

weapons and to destroy or divert to peaceful use any such weapons that it does possess on becoming a party to the Convention (Articles I-II).
