I have the honour to Inform Your Excellency that,
in connection with the Joint Declaration of the Government
the Government of of the People's Republic of China and
the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the question of Hong Kong, signed on 19 December 1984,
the Government of the People's Republic of China [,
following consultations with and with the concurrence
the United Kingdom Government,] wishes to make the
following declaration :
All International rights and obligations arising
from the International instruments on the annexed
list which,
on
Incumbent
upon the
30 June 1997,
Government of the United
vested are
in
or
Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and
to the extent to which
apply to Hong Kong will, to they apply to Hong Kong, be assumed with effect
from 1
July
