Each State Party to the Convention is required:

(a)

to take

whatever

measures may

necessary be

to

establish

its

jurisdiction

over

such

crimes

committed in

its territory; or on board its ships

or aircraft; or by its nationals (Article 3);

by taking all practicable preventive

(b)

to

cooperate

in

or extradition (Article 6).
