BL provisions and its members
upheld the BL and pledged
allegiance to the HKSAR of PRC, the LegCo members, upon confirmation by the Preparatory Committee, might become
members of the first Legislative Assembly in the HKSAR.
Their term of office.would be 2 years, which would make up
a total of 4 years if counting from 1995.
