DECISION
The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED
that
(a)
a further submission should be made to
the Council outlining the public
commitments already given by the
Administration
nature
and
on this subject; the
extent of public and
political pressures to establish such a
Commission;
and
the alternatives
available to the Administration;
(b)
a
separate meeting of the Council
should be
arranged to discuss this
submission and others concerned with
the review of electoral arrangements.
The establishment
of an Electoral
Commission should be addressed in the
series of papers.
