2. CO-OPERATION IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

In accordance with the respective legal provisions, co-operation measures
may be taken in very specific areas of central government, or with a view
to consolidating area administrative structures at federative state or
municipal level.
(a) Objectives

To modernize the public sector.
To provide training in new administrative techniques.
To organize training and advanced training courses designed to
increase mobility and to pave the way for redeployment resulting
from changes in administrative structures.
To improve and upgrade budget planning and drafting.
To provide technical assistance in the field of social services
administration, and co-operation in the field of economic and
social planning.
