(ANNEX I}
(a) Objectives
To promote co-operation in the fields of agriculture and rural life,
forestry, agro-industry, agri-foodstuffs and tropical products.
(b) Forms
The contracting parties will undertake to examine:
opportunities for increasing trade in agricultural, forestry,
agro-industrial and tropical products;
health and plant health measures, and the obstacles to trade they
engender:
environment-friendly farming and forestry methods.
The parties will also carry out measures designed to encourage
Co-operation in:
development of the agricultural sector;
development and protection of forestry resources;
agricultural and rural environment;
training for development, including training in new agricultural
technology;
agricultural research;
