PAPER 2: Legal Advice on the S K Tang Bequest:
2 (D): MR BRIEGEL, INSTITUTE OF CANCER RESEARCH
1.
Mr Briegel's latest letters of 22 January and 4 February asked what progress we were making on the Bequest.
2. Mr Briegel asked in his letter of 24 February whether the Institute will receive the capital and the accrued interest to administer itself or will we retain the capital? I haven't succeeded in ascertaining a clear answer to this. would be grateful for your comments.
3. Mr Briegel also requested a copy of a will, which we do n have. I have not copied him any documents and would welcome your advice on sending out papers to the Institute.
4. I am also keen to gain a clear picture of the nature of our commitment to the Institute.
