Administration, Legal Advisers both here and in Hong Kong, and the Charity Commissioners. Their advice has not always been consistent. The matter was in the hands of the Charity Commission for over a year, with a view to their making a Scheme which would enable us to set up arrangements for the administration of this fund. However, we were finally advised by them in April that we would need to revert again to Hong Kong for a direction under the Sign Manual by the Attorney-General for Hong Kong. We are at present awaiting Hong Kong's reply. I am glad that your letter had brought this matter to my attention. I am now writing to the Attorney-General in Hong Kong to seek an early response. I shall continue to take a personal interest in the matter. The cause is obviously a very good one and I should like to see a quick solution to the problem.
