I was delighted to see the announcement that Cathay Pacific will use Rolls Royce engines to power their new Boeing 777 aircraft.
This is excellent news for a key sector of British industry. I know that Rolls Royce have had to fight off very keen competition to win this order. It underlines again Cathay's significant contribution to Britain as
well as to Hong Kong.
I look forward to keeping in touch about issues of interest to Cathay. We are still working hard on the Air Services front: unfortunately there is no
breakthrough yet.
