The Government of Hong Kong hereby undertakes to
contribute to the Asian Development Fund an amount of Three
Million United States Dollars (USD3,000,000) in accordance
with the provisions of Resolution No. 214 of the Board of
Governors of the Asian Development Bank and subject to the
terms and conditions set forth in that Resolution.

The contribution will be paid in four equal
tranches of Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand U.S. Dollars
each, the first, second and third tranches to be paid not
later than the 1st November of 1992; 1993 and 1994
respectively, and the final tranche not later than 31st December 1995. The payment will be made to the Asian Development Bank in cash.
The Government
agrees that the allocation provision in paragraph 3(b) of the Resolution shall apply to the Contribution and that, accordingly, an amount equal.
to three and one-third per cent of the total Contribution
amount shall be set aside from the first instalment payment
of the Contribution and allocated to the Technical
Assistance Special Fund.
