Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers in Her Majesty vested is pleased, by and with the advice of
Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as
follows:

(i) This Order may be cited as the Hong Kong Public
Finance (Pensions) Order 19..
(ii) This Order shall be published in the Gazette and
shall come into operation on the day on which it is
so published.
Notwithstanding the provisions of (Sections
of) the
Public Finance Ordinance of Hong Kong and of the Pensions Ordinance of Hong Kong the Governor may hereby direct, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, that there shall be charged on the general revenue of Hong Kong any such payment to the Government of the United Kingdom as he may consider
necessary (or as the Secretary of State may instruct) in
respect of the future entitlement to pensions of members of HMOCS and the exercise of this power shall not be conditional on provision being made for such expenditure by or under the Appropriations Ordinance.
