Any time between the second half of February and the beginning of May would suit Yeung. He offers to take care of your local expenses, but asks whether you can meet the cost of your passage. They are a bit strapped for cash. Truly a Treasury!

5. I hope that you are still interested. Could you suggest a convenient week, which I could put to them when I am in Hong Kong briefly on 10 February. I intend to suggest that it might be better if they found money for your fare, as it would be important for this exercise to be something they wanted themselves. We would not wish to foist it on them. They would be getting some high class consultancy for nothing.

5.

I enclose a copy of the background paper which they accept as a fair critique of their system with which they have no quarrel.
