5. Although this is only a temporary respite from double digit inflation, it will no doubt be well received in Hong Kong. Unless I have made a rather glaring omission (some planned price rises that I have ignored?), I am rather
surprised that HKG have not suggested that a fall in inflation is likely. It would have looked good in the budget speech.
