accept a written statement from the importing company confirming receipt. Presumably they would be prepared to do the same with Hong Kong. So one way of resolving the issue might be for one of our people in Hong Kong to visit the company, assuming it still exists, and impress upon them the importance of providing confirmation of receipt. This would surely be in the company's own interest since while the matter remains unresolved, the German export licensing authorities may well refuse any new applications to ship goods to Osprey. Since I do not know my way around the Hong Kong administration, I must seek your advice about how the matter should be pursued.
