Now that we know you will shortly be leaving post on retirement, I am writing to you that I shall be pleased to help with any queries you may have in this connection.

2. I would be grateful for details of your return journey including exact dates of departure from post and arrival in the UK. As a retiring Governor you are entitled to the use of a VIP lounge on your return home. If you wish to take advantage of this I will make the necessary arrangements.

When you do return, I expect you will wish to make various Valedictory calls and I shall be happy to arrange these.

It is customary to call on the Secretary of State, the PUS, Chief Clerk, Head of the political department, the DUS and the AUS; (as well as Security Department. You may, of course, wish to

make additional calls. Please let me know dates when you will

be available to make your valedictory calls. 2015 for 16 July 10.15-10.45.

I enclose a copy of a Circular dated 7 August 1991 from Personnel Policy Department about outside appointments after retirement, in case it is of use to you.
