Visit to London by the Governor of Hong Kong

Number 10 have been working on plans for the Governor's visit in November. They have settled on a working lunch for Mr Patten on 18 November. This suits the Secretary of State,
and is now in his diary. Separately, the Secretary of State has decided to offer dinner on 17 November to Mr and
Mrs Patten. This would be just for the Secretary of State and Mrs Hurd and the Pattens, as last time, but a working dinner nonetheless.
Grateful if you would put this to the Governor.
