The Election Committee. Depending on the outcome of discussions with China on directly elected seats we may need an Election Committee in 1995 to elect up to 10 LegCo Members. We believe that the Committee should be genuinely representative of the community, i.e. that its members should themselves have been elected. Therefore, all or most of its members will comprise the members of the directly elected District Boards. They will be able to vote for any candidate who is a registered elector.
