GOVERNOR'S 7 OCTOBER ADDRESS
1.
On 7 October we sent copies of the address, and an Embassy press release to State, NSC, key staff contacts in the House and Senate, and to representatives of the media here in New York. Unfortunately, the House had already finished is session and many Congressmen had left town. The Senate was busy completing business in order to finish its session as soon as possible. It is unlikely, therefore, that there will be much Congressional interest in the near future.
2. I will let you know how much press interest there is.
