1. I refer to Hong Kong telno 1350 of 19 May which contains the Hong Kong Government's comments. I would be most grateful if you would send a draft telegram to thank them and say that all but one of their comments are accepted.
2.
I have a query about the suggestion in paragraph 2E of that telegram. In section 15, renumbered as section 14, we suggest that the comma is inserted after the words 'by him in Hong Kong' and not before 'an offence'. The insertion of the comma after 'by him in Hong Kong' would mirror the Act.
3.
I attach an amended draft Order for you to fax to Hong Kong. In fact, given the trivial nature of the point in paragraph 2, you may prefer to fax the query too. I will be obtaining a reprint of the draft Order.
