ale?

Rec 31:

I attach, as requested, the agreed actuarial compensation factors for judicial officers. These were worked out by GAD in 1988 and were apparently sent to you sometime in 1990 when seeking your comments on the proposed Limited Compensation Scheme for Judicial Officers (CSJO).

In the event we did not proceed with the LCSJO because of doubts about the need for it anyway, at least at this stage.

We did however finalise the compensation factors and the LCSJO is ready if necessary.

The

compensation factors used for the GC3 should be those for supersession for promotion to facilitate localisation as shown in tables la to 1E. Please ignore the references to "Judges on Agreement Terms" in tables 1D and 1E.

agreement terms within pensionable officers or the LCSJO it might be agreement terms as they Letters Patent to age 65.

Please let me know if you need any acditional information. I hope we can have some announcement shortly.

Yours sincerely,

Mike
