Dear Mr Watherston,
1.
Ms Maspet
32
Please refer to Miss Rowe's letter of 10 February 1992 to Christopher Prentice in the Private Office here about the Lord Chancellors wish to offer the Chief Justice of Hong Kong some hospitality on his next visit to the UK.
2.
Hong Kong have told us that the Chief Justice is likely to be in the UK at around the end of July, when he will be taking his annual leave. Hong Kong do not yet have precise dates for the leave. Please let us know whether you would like Government House to mention to the Chief Justice the possibility of a meeting or hospitality with the Lord Chancellor. We would be happy to act as a channel to Hong Kong.
Ye sincereh,
Peter Rickett
