REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FROM LORD IRVINE OF LAIRG
1. As requested in your minute of 24 July, I attach information on the Hong Kong Judiciary and Legal System together with a set of Bull Points on Hong Kong. We do not have an unclassified brief specifically on the Bill of Rights or the Court of Final Appeal. No Doubt Lord Irvine will be well briefed on these issues when he visits Hong Kong.
