Further to my letter of 21 October I have received confirmation from the Senior Police Adviser that he will now ensure that Royal Hong Kong Police Force officers are informed of vacancies in dependent territories at the same time as their UK counterparts.
However, I should point out that recruitment would take place in the UK and that the officers themselves would be liable for their travel
expenses.
