In the next couple of weeks we shall forward to Personnel Management Department the applications we have received from our HMOCS officers for posts in other dependent territories that are coming vacant during 1993. We understand that such appointments would be on contract terms. Until 1997 we may be able to accommodate any officers selected on no pay leave terms from Hong Kong.
They would, however, have to retire from Hong Kong and HMOCS if the contract ran beyond 1997.
