UNDERTAKING TO THE HONG KONG GOVERNMENT
(to be signed when leave is taken in excess of the rate
applicable to officers on 100% pensionability)
In accordance with paragraph 5 of Annex B to Circular No. 1/88, as I have applied for
days vacation leave from
days in excess of what I would have earned had I opted to transfer to 100% pensionability, agree to the following arrangement in respect of
leave balance at the time of of departure from the service should I eventually opt to transfer to 100% pensionability

(a) I shall pay the Government a sum equivalent to the salary of my debit leave balance, or
(b)
if I fail to pay the Government as stated in (a) above, the Government has the right, without prior notice to me, deduct the sum equivalent to the salary of my debit leave balance from any sum of money which may become payable by the Government to me or my
estate.
