Since you last saw the draft submission and statement, I have consulted Mr Fifoot and Mr Waters on a couple of outstanding points. Their comments are at flags A and B
As a result of their comments, I have amended the submission and statement (as highlighted) to:
(i) Include a requirement that officers must have completed buying back their contract service before the appointed day for the Compensation Scheme. This is to avoid a situation where officers receive compensation and then default on buying back service.
(ii) Put back the dates for application for HMOCS, commiting to buy back service, and switching to pensionable terms by one month on Mr Waters' advice.
