has the choice of transferring either when he is found medically fit or at any time before the expiry of his
contract.
HMG has decided that an officer whose application to
transfer to pensionable terms has been approved must transfer by 30 April 1993 in order to benefit from any compensation and incentive scheme that HMG may put in place for HMOCS officers.

It is emphasised that this deadline applies only in respect of any compensation and incentive scheme that HMG may promulgate for members of HMOCS. If officers concerned wish to transfer to pensionable terms after 30 April 1993, they may continue to do so in accordance with the policy of HKG.
