The
arrangements set out in paragraphs 5 to 6 aiso apply to members of the Judiciary, but there is one additional category which needs a new paragraph as follows :
"Judicial officers, on the permanent establishment, who were aged $3 or above on 30 August 1991, were permitted to retain the right to refund contract
by means of one gratuities
lump sum payment not
before days commenced taking pre-retirement leave. These officers will be required to sign an irrevocable

Paragraph 6(i), and 6(ii) 26 July 1991 must decide and commence buying back service.
It is necessary to use these words because officers have the option of buying back past service either through a lump
sum
lump
or by payment
a smaller
sum and deduction of installments from their monthly salaries. The important point is that they must have decided how much service to buy back and have started the arrangements to do so.
