ODA OFFICERS PENSIONS QUESTIONNAIRE (PDF 93)

Thank you for your letter of 1 June 1992 addressed to Dave Fish. I sorry that you have had to wait so long for a reply; some of the points that you ralped zoquized a good deal of thought.

Before answering your questions, it may be relevant to explain whic. type of officers in the Hong Kong public service will qualify for STOS. In general we give SPOS to pensioners who had served in Hong Kong if they satisfy the following conditions:

they were colested for initial appointment. by the Secreta of State or the Crown Agents, or were recruited to a post for which the normal channel of recruitment. would have be either the Colonial Office or the Crown Agents; and
