I refer to your telno 1190 of 6.8.92 suggesting that we may wish to consider whether it would be desirable to update the actuarial valuation of our pensions liabilities in the years after 1997. To assist us in our consideration, I should be grateful if you would let me know what the approximate cost would be for commissioning to conduct such a valuation. of course, we are non-committal to the suggested valuation at this stage.
