Please refer to Mr Waters' letter of 1 July to Mr Cox, which enclosed a copy of Michael Cartland's letter of the same date on this subject.

I have spoken to Mr Tunstall in PMD who apologises for the delay in replying to Mr Waters' letter of 2 June. He has had to consult other departments and will shortly be sending a reply, together with a list of the Governorships which will become available in other dependent territories up to the end of 1994.
