Transfer of Agreement Officers
to the Permanent Establishment

સેક set out in CSR 121(1 (4), an agreement officer who satisfies the conditions stipulated in che regulation may apply for transfer

=he transfer officer may augment his pensionable permanent service by buying back his previous agreement service through refund of gratuity payments plus interest. The officer may elect to
to buy back either the entire period of his previous service in one
30 OT his the service of any full tour of agreement prior to the date of transfer.

It has recently been agreed with the Director of Audit and the Director of Accounting Services that

(a) in addition

to
to the conditions set out in CSR 121(1) (3), it has co
to be satisfied that an officer will have a minimum of five years to serve before reaching normai recizement age;
4
(b) an officer should be given a time limit of 12 months from the date of Cransfer Co exercise the buying back option; and
:
(c) an officer should be required to effect refund こう the Government, either by one lump sum or by monthly instalments, within three months from the date of approval for buying back.
These arrangements, which are applicable to both local and overseas officers, will take immediate effect.
