Terms of Employment of Overseas Officers
Please refer to Civil Service Branch Circular No. 6/85 and my memorandum (11) in CSB-S/2 of 19 December 1985.

As further information from the UK Government Actuary Department is still awaited, the deadline for applications from overseas officers for transfer to the permanent and pensionable establishment is extended to 31 March 1987 or the end of the agreement on which the officer was serving on 28 March 1985, whichever is the later.
3.
In the light of the extended period for applications, Civil Service Branch will review any applications already made and rejected where it is considered that circumstances may have changed since the application was originally considered.
I should be grateful if you would bring the above decision to the attention of all overseas agreement officers in your department.
