SUPPLEMENTS TO THIS ISSUE
THE DOCUMENTS detailed hereunder have been issued and are published as a Supplement to this issue of the Royal Gazette:-
Proclamation No. 19 of 1960—(G‹.vernment Notice No. 133 of 1960).
The Trinidad and Tobago (Constitution) (Retirement of Entitled Officers) Regulations, 1960--(Government Notice
No. 134 of 1960).
The United Kingdom-Trinidad and Tobago Public Officers Agreement-(Government Notice No. 135 of 1960).
2010
THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO (CONSTITUTION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER IN COUNCIL, 1959
THE PUBLIC OFFICERS' (TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO) AGREEMENT, 1960
THE PUBLIC OFFICERS' (TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO) Agreement, 1960 is published as a supplement to this Gazette Extraordinary. This Agreement will be subject to review after a period of 5 years or when the Federation of the West Indies becomes independent whichever is the earlier; at that stage consideration will be given to whether locally domiciled members of Her Majesty's Overseas Civil Service should continue to be covered by the terms of the Agreement.
The Secretary of State has recorded that the signature of the Agreement and the publication of the Trinidad and Tobago (Constitution) (Retirement of Entitled Officers) Regulations, 1960, which also form a supplement to this Gazette Extraordinary, followed by the establishment of the Executive Service Commissions, mark the end of his association with the Public Service which over the years has wholeheartedly served the people of Trinidad and Tobago. The Secretary of State is confident that in the future the Service will continue with equal devotion to work for the best interests of the Territory, its People and Government.
ERIC WILLIAMS Premier, Trinidad and Tobago
