OUT OF NATO AREA (00A) DEFENCE COMMITMENTS
1. Mr Broomfield has suggested he should send a letter to Mr Mottram in the MOD listing the 00A commitments that in our view will require continuing resources. He wants to put down a marker that there should be inter-departmental ministerial consultation before any MOD attempts to change those
commitments.
I should be grateful for comments on the attached self-explanatory draft letter by close of play on 31 March.
