How long will
it
take for all the
VMS to be
returned to Vietnam?
A31
It will depend on a number of factors including the rate of return, voluntary or otherwise, the number of new arrivals and the screened-in rate. If the
number of new arrivals remains small and the voluntary repatriation maintains its momentum, it may take about three years to resolve the problem.

We are already able to return over 1,000 people per month and hope to see further increases.
