(Where authority for instituting disciplinary action lies with CSB, recommendation for disciplinary action should be submitted to CSB in the first instance)
Obtain the brief facts of the case from the Police and the court transcript from AGC in respect of the criminal
conviction of the officer; chase up for these documents to avoid undue delay
Upon the expiry of the deadline for appeal against the officer's conviction, write to the officer to invite representations within 7 days
Consider punishment upon receipt of the officer's representations
