The Public Service Commission has been consulted on the proposed delegation of authority. The Commission has given its support to the proposals.

CR 54 (5)
stipulates, among other things, that the Governor shall not delegate the power of dismissal save with the approval of the Secretary of State.
I therefore wish to seek the Secretary of State's approval for the Governor to delegate :
(a)

his power of dismissal under CRS 57 and 58 to the Secretary for the Civil Service (paragraph 1(a) above); and
the power of summary CR
