Lord Belstead (Paymaster-General and Minister at the Northern Ireland Office) has received the attached correspondence from Mr Kevin Cahill referring to UK-Malaysian foreign relations at a time when Lord Belstead was a Minister of State at the Foreign
Office.
Lord Belstead proposes to reply to Mr Cahill along the lines that he has no comment to make, but he would be grateful for an FCO view as to whether they would be happy with a response along these lines.
