ALLEGATION OF CORRUPTION IN THE FOREIGN AND COMMONWEALTH OFFICE
With reference to your letters of 10 and 15 May, I am pleased
to note that you do not accuse the Foreign and Commonwealth
Office, or any of its officials, of corruption.
As for the various accusations and questions in your letters
relating to the Lorrain Osman case, the correct place to air
such matters is clearly the courts. As you will know,
Mr Osman's fifth application for a writ of habeus corpus
was rejected by the Divisional Court on 22 May.
