Extradition Proceedings Concerning Mr Lorrain Osman

You very kindly replied in a letter dated 1 March to my further enquiries of 19 February. Unfortunately your more recent letter was nothing other than a word processed regurgitation of your letter of 16 January, which had failed to address the questions which I raised in my letter to you of 4 December, enclosing one from Mr Kevin Cahill of 19 November, of which I enclose copies for ease of reference. I should be grateful if you would now let me have answers to the following questions:

Is it the case that, in the course of the past 18 months, the Hong Kong prosecutor who instigated the case against Lorrain Osman and was responsible for it, has been convicted and jailed for 8 years for corruption offenses? Is it true that the Government's major witness has admitted criminally receiving over US $11 million in bribes?

What information do you have on the suggestion that a key member of the Malaysian Government, connected with this case, has been implicated in a potential bribe of US $50 million and in the murder of an auditor involved in the matter?

Is it the case that the Governor of Hong Kong earlier warned that the Malaysian Attorney General, who made the original complaint

I further attach copies of four letters which were introduced into Open Court by the Hong Kong authorities which show, at least prima facie, that the Malaysian Finance Minister had a specific relationship with the key borrower in the and that borrower, Tan/Carrian, acted as agent for Malaysian Government and for the Finance Minister personally. They showed that the Finance Minister was offered shares with an expected value of $50 million. The author of letter 'D', a bank auditor, was apparently murdered 11 days later. Is it the
