In your letter to the Guardian you challenged their perception that a a form of moral corruption was widespread in the Crown service.B)

The Guardian did not advance a clear definition of what it meant by

corruption, so let me do so. The most serious corruption is that which

affects the decision making and advisory processes of the Crown

service. It is exemplified by actions, which, if undertaken by a

private individual, would be either illegal, or morally wrong, or both.

There was a clear implication in your letter that, where

corruption could be proved, you would deal ruthlessly with it.

I attach a case, with supporting documentation from Foreign Office

cables, and documents from the files of the Hong Kong police, which

I say proves both wrong doing and illegal activity, by Crown servants.

I hope you will act with the expedition implied in your letter.

Jours sincerely

Jevin Caliss.
