Corruption in the Crown Service. The Osman case.

I am seriously concerned at the failure of your office, not
to answer my letters, I never expected that, but to simply acknowledge their receipt. I am sure you get many letters but very few which lay before you such formal prima facie evidence of corruption.
I am even more disturbed since I am, I believe, reliably informed that it is an official or officials in your own office who are preventing any examination of the extraordinary facts surrounding the prosecution itself in this case. It must be clear to you that a prosecution with these characteristics could not proceed in the UK without profound damage to the concept of public justice. From the evidence that I submitted to you I am compelled to say, and will do so, that this is, unusually, a real conspiracy. I will even go so far as to use this case to define what I mean by a 'states conspiracy', and to define what I mean by corruption, ie the taking of actions which, if taken by an individual, would be illegal. I also intend to submit this onesided correspondence to Melanie Phillips at the Guardian fairly soon and unless I receive at least the minimal courtesy of an acknowledgement.
