I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of the
Secretary's letter of 26 September 1991, which reads as
follows

Your
Excellency, I have the honour to refer to recent
representatives of the Government of the
discussions between
Republic of Poland and the Government of the United Kingdom
concerning visa-free access for travel to Hong Kong by Polish
passport holders and for travel to Poland by Hong Kong British
Dependent Territories Citizen passport holders and by
by British
National (Overseas) passport holders (hereafter called
Hong Kong passport holders"). It is the
Government of Hong Kong that
understanding
"British
of the
(1) Polish passport holders will be permitted to visit Hong
Kong without visas for a period not exceeding seven (7)
days, excluding the date of landing.
