The Hong Kong Red Cross was established as a Local Branch of the ritish Red Cross Society in 1950. In 1990 the Council of the BRCS authorised the Hong Kong Red Cross to become a Central Council Branch of the British Red Cross Society. The Hong Kong Red Cross has observer status on the BRCS Council, and maintains regular relations with our National Headquarters in London.
