Further to my letter of 18 January I have ascertained through our Financial Services Division that the Bank of Scotland (mentioned in my point (d)) was constituted under an Act of the Scottish Parliament in 1695. Perhaps a small change to the wording of criteria (a) would enable this to be included within that particular group?
