As you know, following your faxes of 21 and 31 December the FCO have appointed an agent to find out the percentage shareholdings held in subsidiaries by parent companies.
I have a few initial comments to make following a quick look at the lists, some of which you will no doubt have already taken into account.
List A
Letter of 21 December
I assume that Pacific Region should be deleted after BOC Group
Seatrade Publications (FE) Ltd should be deleted. now features on list B as a subsidiary of Seatrade Publications Ltd.
Letter of 31 December
The company
We agree that A Bilbrough & Co Ltd should be included but Plessey have been taken over by Siemens; the Plessey Co plc will have been incorporated into the Siemens Group
LIST B/C
Letter of 21 December
Parent of BTR Dunlop China should, I believe read, BTR plc

Binnie & Partners it now seems that according to Company House records Binnie & Partners has been dissolved. The company however undoubtedly still exists!
